Don't miss David Francey, Craig Werth and Dave Gerard's Acoustic Truffle at the NH Folk Festival at the Rochester Opera House!
Multiple Juno Award winning artist David Francey instantly engages the audience as he sings stories of working folks with his amazing voice ripe with passion and incredible emotion. Francey himself lived the hopes and dreams of the common man as he worked as a laborer traveling across the Canadian countryside. Newmarket resident Craig Werth was the co-producer/arranger/instrumentalist for Francey's 2008 Juno Award winning album Right of Passage. Werth continues to lend his considerable talents to support Francey with multiple instruments, harmony vocals and original arrangements. Dave Gerard's Truffle trio has a groove-driven acoustic style with a sound all it's own. Weaving elements of soul, bluegrass, R&B, and world beat, they bring a well rounded set of 'music-Americana' to the stage. Their love of acoustic music, and a different set list and approach from their electric shows, creates a truly unique listening experience.
