Bring the whole fam to Sages Entertainment’s studio at The Mall at Fox Run in Newington this weekend. Family STEAM Night features a variety of activities and interactive stations on Friday from 4-5:30 p.m. ($7). On Sunday, adult couples can learn some tricks during Magical Date Night from 4-5 p.m. ($50 per couple). Entertain the kids during their day off from school on Monday with the Seal Of Approval Magic Show from 10:30-11:15 a.m. ($10), followed by Whimsical Tales and Enchanted Stories from 1-1:45 p.m. ($10). Richard Dreyfuss at The Music Hall

Hollywood legend Richard Dreyfuss will share stories from a 40-year career that has included such iconic films as “Jaws,” “Stand By Me,” “Close Encounters of The Third Kind,” and “American Graffiti,” at The Music Hall in Portsmouth on Friday at 7 p.m. A screening of “Jaws” follows the discussion. Kat Wright at The Word Barn Meadow

Vermont based singer and songwriter Kat Wright has accurately been described as “a young Bonnie Raitt meets Amy Winehouse.” She’ll bring her band back to Exeter for an intimate outdoor performance in The Word Barn Meadow on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Tickets are $28. Learn more here.

‘Alice’ at The Players’ Ring

The Players’ Ring closes out its main-stage season with a musical for the whole family. Presented by Upside Arts, “Alice” was adapted from Lewis Carroll’s books. It’s on stage from May 24 to June 2 in Portsmouth; show times are Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $18-$31. Learn more here.

Two tribute bands at Jimmy’s

Hear the music of two of the world’s most beloved bands in two separate tribute concerts at Jimmy’s Jazz and Blues Club in Portsmouth this weekend. Silver Springs plays songs by Fleetwood Mac on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ($10-$55). And Beatlemania Again pays homage to — you guessed it — The Beatles on Sunday at 7 p.m. ($10-$40).

Concerts at The Stone Church

Local mountain-rock group The Kenny Brothers Band will perform with cosmically breezy opener Chris Ballerini & the Drift at The Stone Church in Newmarket on Friday at 8 p.m. ($15). Regional tribute band Echoes of Floyd follows on Saturday at 8 p.m. with a set of classics and deep cuts from the catalog of Pink Floyd ($20). Learn more here.

Local soul and funk powerhouse Trade headlines a concert with opener King Dead at The Dance Hall in Kittery on Friday from 8-10 p.m. ($17). If you’re looking for a quiet evening, stay away from The Press Room in Portsmouth on Friday night. A three-day festival of music wraps up at WSCA Portsmouth Community Radio on Sunday from 2:30-10 p.m. The Happy Little Fest lineup includes Slim Volume, Megan from Work, Today Junior, Dwarf Cannon, Big Brute, Qvickdraw, Tatooine Punk Scene, Milk St., and Palana vs. The Man.
