Colossal creatures attack iconic Seacoast sites in “Portsmouth Monsters Attack!,” the new exhibit on display at the Kennedy Gallery in Portsmouth. Local artist Bill Paarlberg will be on hand to share his monster drawings at an opening reception during the Art ‘Round Town gallery walk on Friday from 5-8 p.m. Learn more here.

WSCA Radio will host two great shows on the Button Factory Stage in Portsmouth this weekend. Eclectic roots-rock and reggae band Drew and The Truth performs on Friday from 6-9 p.m. ($10-$15). A new coming-of-age comedy has its world premiere at The Players’ Ring in Portsmouth this weekend. Emily Andrews’ original rom-com “Head, Heart, and Heather” is on stage Oct. 4-20. 40th Annual Apple Harvest Day in Dover

Downtown Dover will be the site of a street festival spanning eight city blocks during the 40th annual Apple Harvest Day celebration on Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The free event includes more than 300 vendors, live entertainment on multiple stages, two food courts, children’s amusements, a 5K road race, and more. Festival in the Field at Tuckaway Farm

Enjoy some family-friendly festivities while supporting an important cause at Tuckaway Farm in Lee on Saturday from 12-6 p.m. Presented by the Freedom Cafe, Festival in the Field will feature live music from Truffle, Mica’s Groove Train, The Ring Out, and Coyote Smoke, as well as food, beverages, art, and other vendors.
