Two concerts at The Dance Hall

With Celia Woodsmith (Della Mae) on vocals, Jason Anick (Rhythm Future Quartet) on violin, and Zachariah Hickman (Barnstar!) on upright bass, the Celia Woodsmith & Jason Anick Trio is a true supergroup, and they’ll be performing at The Dance Hall in Kittery on Friday from 7:30-9 p.m. ($12-$25). Rock out to some ’90s classics when The Great Falls Avenue Band plays Weezer’s Blue Album with guest Red Hot Silly Peppers at The Stone Church in Newmarket on Friday at 8 p.m. ($10-$15). Start your Saturday with a relaxing Boro Patchwork / Sashiko Panel Workshop at The Word Barn in Exeter from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. ($90). Cap off your Saturday with a performance by Erica Brown & The Bluegrass Connection that night from 7-9 p.m. ($30). Women’s Adventure Film Tour

The films featured in the 2025 Women’s Adventure Film Tour represent the spirit of perseverance and the power of women in the outdoors to inspire, entertain, and spark important conversations. Country band at The Rockingham Ballroom

Regional country band Freddy and the Freeloaders, formerly known as Cashwood, will perform at The Rockingham Ballroom in Newmarket on Saturday night. Jim McCue at McCue’s Comedy Club

Local comedian Jim McCue will headline a night of standup at the comedy club that bears his name on Saturday night. Keller Williams at 3S Artspace

Find out why singer-songwriter and guitar virtuoso Keller Williams is known as a Musical Mad Scientist when he makes his 3S Artspace debut this weekend. Bees Deluxe x 2 at The Press Room

Enjoy some good food and good music during two special concerts at The Press Room in Portsmouth on Sunday. Blues group Bees Deluxe, founded and fronted by British guitarist Conrad Ware, will provide the entertainment for a Blues Brunch at 12 p.m., followed that evening with a Blues Supper at 6 p.m. Tickets to each show are $12-$15.
The Rumble at Jimmy’s Jazz & Blues Club

Last year, New Orleans funk ensemble The Rumble’s debut album, “Live at the Maple Leaf Bar,” was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Regional Roots Album.
