Every year from April to November, the NH Art Association hosts artist solo exhibitions. This April Linda Behar, James Coyer, and David Olken will present a body of work on view.
She Speaks: Body Language – An Exhibition by Linda Behar
Portsmouth, NH – She Speaks: Body Language, an exhibition by artist Linda Behar, explores the power of body language as a form of communication, self-expression, and resistance. Through intricate printmaking techniques and laser-cut elements, Behar examines the relationship between identity, movement, and societal expectations, capturing the unspoken narratives of the female form. Linda will hold an artist talk on Saturday, April 5, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
Scripted Sculptures by James Coyer
Scripted Sculptures, an exhibition by artist James Coyer, explores the intersection of language and form, transforming discarded materials into thought-provoking sculptures. Through a fusion of text and three-dimensional design, Coyer’s work challenges viewers to consider how words shape perception and meaning when embedded within physical structures.
In Search of Norumbega by David Olken
In Search of Norumbega, photographer David Olken presents a striking visual journey through the landscapes of the Gulf of Maine and Atlantic Canada. His work captures the elusive beauty of these regions, reflecting both a personal search for home and the fleeting yet profound moments that define a place. David will hold an artist talk on April 19th from 1-3 pm.
