Fashion’s Night Out Portsmouth takes place each year on the first Thursday of September, celebrating local fashion at participating shops downtown. The 2016 event was on Sept. 1.

Gatsby on the Isles

Gatsby on the Isles: Jazz Age Lawn Party & Soiree on Star Island took place in late August and featured music from the Wolverine Jazz Band.
The 1920s bash on the high seas offered music, dancing, lawn games, a picnic, and vintage fashion, all to benefit the Star Island Corporation.
