The Exit 5 northbound ramps on the Spaulding Turnpike in Dover will be closed “for several months” for construction, according to the state Department of Transportation. The closure is part of the Little Bay Bridge project and allows for the construction of a new northbound tie-in lane.
Motorists needing to access Wentworth Terrace and Hilton Park will be detoured to Exit 6W; southbound traffic accessing those locations will use Exit 6S. The ramps are expected to reopen later this summer. For more information, call the DOT at 603-271-3734. — Larry Clow
