Maine-based rocker Pete Kilpatrick will bring his band to the grounds of Newburyport Brewing Co. on Friday for an early outdoor concert from 6-9 p.m. Kilpatrick, who earlier this month shared the stage with Kevin Bacon and The Bacon Brothers, makes his debut full-band appearance at the brewery. The Word Barn hosts three great shows this weekend in Exeter. Singer-songwriter Tré Burt, who’s signed to John Prine’s label, performs in the meadow on Friday from 7-8:30 p.m. ($20). The Jacob Jolliff Band (above), led by a mandolinist who toured for years with Yonder Mountain String Band, follows on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. ($20).
